Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge
This tour starts with an hour and a half drive to Los Chiles in a comfortable a/c bus. The guide will describe the most relevant aspects of the zone, and will take you through the most important citrus groves, a variety of agricultural plantations. Before starting the second part of the tour, we take a 15-minute-break in a restaurant in town. The adventure begins again with the two hours trip through the Frío River and to the entrance of the Refuge. It is easy to spot iguanas, slots, Caymans, bats, three different kinds of monkeys and a variety of flora and birds of the area. At the edge of the river, The group will enjoy a delicious lunch (with vegetarian food available), and then we will start the trip back to Los Chiles and La Fortuna.

Sport Fishing
Cabinas Guacamaya invites you to enjoy a half-day or full-day fishing trip in Lake Arenal. An experienced local guide, equipment, some snacks and beverages and transportation from Cabinas Guacamaya to the lake are included.

Hiking to the Volcano and
Tabacón Hot Springs
This wonderful hiking tour begins in the Arenal Volcano National Park, where an experienced guide will take you through the magnificent trail called ¨Los Tucanes¨. In the two kilometers of hiking you can see flowering plants, birds, and some of the Rain Forest's animal species. This exciting tour reminds you the power of nature each time you hear and feel the volcano during the hike. Later you will arrive at the lava rocks of the 1968 and 1993 explosion. At the base of the volcano you will have the best view of the volcano, the lake and Arenal´s valley. At the end of the tour, we will give you some drinks and also take you to the natural hot springs of Tabacón where you can relax for an hour before the tour is over.

Canopy Tour in La Fortuna
The tour lasts from four to five hours and it is recommended to people in good physical condition. Ages of participants have ranged from 4 to 78 years. Transportation, horses, minimum of two guides, snacks and beverages are included.

Horseback Riding to Monteverde
This is the most exciting way to get to Monteverde from Cabinas Guacamaya in La Fortuna. The departure time at 7:30 a.m. and its up to the Arenal Lake where we will meet the boat which takes you to El Castillo, then you will go on a horseback riding tour to El Mirador at Monteverde, you will have the opportunity, for four hours, to enjoy one of the most beautiful landscapes of the area, riding along the old trails use by the local farmers, pasture fields and rivers. And finally we will give a ride by car to your hotel. (Snacks and drinks are included).

Horseback Riding to La Fortuna Waterfall
This unforgettable adventure begins with an hour horseback riding through beautiful trails where the panoramic views surround the area. A local guide will join you during the trip, combining the ride with an exciting hike down to the swimming hole. Safari Adventure Float
From La Fortuna we will drive 20 minutes to the Peñas Blancas river to start the Safari Adventure. The First part of the tour begins here with a two-hour trip on a float boat (no motor). While you enjoy sounds from nature the guide will describe the flora and fauna of the place. At the end of the river trip, it is time to put on your long pants and get ready to hike into the Primary Tropical Rain Forest. After that, we go back to the boat and continue floating and admiring the flora and fauna for about forty minutes towards Boca Arenal, this is the town where the bus will pick us up (Snacks and drinks included).
